Early First Day

So today I had my first glimpse of the school I'll be teaching. To my lovely surprise, it is a somewhat new school (it has all the new school building structures) and met with some of the teachers there. I also went and had a meeting with the Penolong Kanan and the Pengetua, and tentatively I was assigned to teach English. Got myself a couple of teaching materials and stuffs to prepare for tomorrow. 7.30 in the morning, it's time to learn how to wake up early again....

And a new beginning...

It sounded just like a normal phone call but once I picked it up, it meant I've just started a new chapter in my life. It was the confirmation of my employment as a substitute teacher.

Gosh, suddenly I felt the weight of the world on me. At the same time I felt a relief too, no more freeloading. But it's time to start the old engine again and learn the ropes. Well, wish me luck...
